As an extension of Ashkal Arabiya Carpentry Workshop's excellence in the hospitality sector, we proudly present our interior woodwork execution for Al-Zawiya Cafe. The cafe's interior was designed with a warm, modern aesthetic that beautifully blends Minimalism with Japandi influences. Our work focused on creating a perfect harmony between natural dark woods and crisp, white fluted surfaces, utilizing lighting to cultivate a calm and welcoming environment for guests.

🛠️ Executed Works (Scope of Work)

1. Coffee Bar and Service Counter

The main counter serves as the visual focal point of the cafe and was executed with the highest standards of craftsmanship:

1. Front Facade: Clad in matte white fluted wood panels. The standout feature is the flawless execution of the seamless curved edges, demonstrating advanced technical skill in material manipulation and adding a soft, flowing aesthetic to the overall design.
2. Countertop: A dark, durable surface was selected to create a striking contrast with the white facade, specifically designed to withstand the weight of heavy coffee machines and the rigorous demands of high-traffic commercial use.

2. Suspended Architectural Woodwork

1. Illuminated Structure: A custom suspended wooden structure was crafted and installed directly above the ordering area. It features natural wood framing holding translucent panels illuminated from within.
2. Aesthetic and Function: This element serves a dual purpose: providing functional task lighting for the baristas while acting as a signature architectural centerpiece that defines the cafe's identity and catches the eye upon entry.

3. Wall Paneling and Display Shelving

1. Back Bar Backdrop: The white fluted paneling is mirrored on the back wall, creating a cohesive design language throughout the space.
2. Barista Shelving: Custom open wooden shelves are elegantly integrated into the back wall, designed for the organized and accessible display of coffee retail products and accessories.
3. Wooden Wall Cladding: The prominent side wall in the seating area is wrapped in smooth wooden paneling featuring a warm walnut tone. The rich, natural wood grain adds visual depth and warmth to the space.

4. Custom Wooden Tables

1. The seating area features robust, custom-made wooden tables. The main table highlights intricate, high-precision engraved detailing on its surface, supported by a solid base. Additionally, modern wooden block stools were provided to complement the cafe's minimalist and contemporary spirit.
